Enabling patient-specific drug discovery with liver organoid
Using a multicellular miniature liver organoid, researchers have been able to reproduce the symptoms of two different liver diseases. This model could potentially be used to advance drug testing and discovery for a range of diseases, importantly in a patient-centric manner.
